Who is Onward for?+
Onward is built first for students and early-career candidates looking for an internship, apprenticeship or first job in France. You can also explore a new direction from your existing experience.
How do I get started?+
Registration is currently by invitation. Open the app, enter your access code, create an account with email or Google and upload your CV. Already have an account? Sign in directly. There’s nothing to install.
How is this different from a job board or a CV builder?+
A job board helps you find listings; a CV builder helps you format a document. Onward connects your experience to a specific opportunity: possible directions, strengths, gaps and a tailored CV. It does not replace the recruiter’s decision.
Can I use a role I found elsewhere?+
Yes. Import a public link, including LinkedIn, paste a job description or add a file. If a page is inaccessible or requires sign-in, use its text or a document instead. You can view the original source and apply on the recruiting website.
What do the scores and potential mean?+
They estimate the correspondence between your presented experience and a role. Current match, estimated match after improving presentation and potential after strengthening are distinct. A high potential is neither a guaranteed future score nor a probability of getting an interview.
Does Onward invent experience or apply for me?+
No: the aim is to present your real experience more clearly. Strengthening suggestions are things to acquire or confirm, not facts to automatically add. Always review the generated CV. You choose the roles and submit your own applications.
Can I prepare my CV in French or English?+
Yes. Choose your tailored CV’s language before generating it, independently of the interface language. Your preferred job languages are separate too.
